More children than ever are reporting feelings of stress, anxiety, loneliness & depression and by the age of 12 in the UK most children have their own phone, a device that enables behaviours that can either positively or negatively impact a child’s wellbeing. The Own It app and keyboard use machine learning to support children at this crucial stage of their digital life, to give them nudges to reflect on their digital behaviour, learn from setbacks and develop positive digital behaviours. It also intervenes in the moments when children are most in need of help and support. Own It features unrivalled privacy standards, with all personal data staying on the child’s phone. It’s not a parental monitoring tool but is instead aimed solely at children, giving them a personal, completely private place to reflect and develop.
