A League of Their Own' was to celebrate 10 years on air with a 10 year anniversary special. But due to the Covid 19 pandemic the celebrations had to be put on hold. Recorded just weeks after the first lock down ended, the series was made without James Corden, who was unable to travel back from LA, without an audience and the cast at 2m social distance. Despite the restrictions the team were determined to give the viewers some much needed comic relief. The set was rebuilt to accommodate a 2m gap, the audience seating was taken out to accommodate bigger games and a huge Jumbotron was screen installed to show the internet viewers who were watching from home using an app on a smart phone. It was a very different series to anything we’ve made over the last 10 years, but we’re really proud it got made and that it still made people laugh.
