Despite being a children’s animated show set in a fantastical sci-fi world where dinosaurs walk the earth, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous pulls no punches and refuses to talk down to its audience. The stakes are utterly real, and our cast of young protagonists are layered, relatable characters wrestling with real-world issues and themes. The kids significantly change and grow as individuals and as a group, while doing their best to survive the dinosaurs stalking them across Isla Nublar. Our writers strive to tell exciting, yet grounded stories, cinematically shot and emotionally investing to the viewer. Our animators have achieved subtle, realistic acting, whether from a teen girl in emotional turmoil or an enraged carnotaurus looking for its next meal. Design has created stylized human characters and blended them seamlessly with near-photo realistic dinosaurs. Lighting, comp and effects have made the show come to life, establishing mood and realizing pulse-pounding action sequences.
