Taking our inspiration both from the successful Feature Films and also the original stopframe series, we created a new pre-school world for Paddington in our series The Adventures of Paddington. The Brown family are younger than in the films and we have enjoyed introducing some new characters into his world. The voice actor who played Simi in this episode had never acted before. We were very lucky to have Ben Whishaw agree to voice Paddington in our series. we have taken Michael Bond's instruction to 'LOOK AFTER THIS BEAR...' very seriously.
