Nesting is inspired by real-life friends and co-creators Anna and Rosa. A few years ago, both single, they were sitting in a corner booth at their friend’s engagement party. Over the din of well wishes and loud music, they were commiserating about their rocky relationships and their ticking time bomb biological clocks. They were the last of their friends to “settle down.” Surely there was a better way to go about this? Facing down the barrel of the final few years of their fertility, they jokingly proposed to each other that they'd co-parent together. Then they realized it was actually a better idea for a series. And that's how Nesting was born.
