The second series of Jimmy McGovern’s multi award-winning hit drama Time is a moving and high-stakes portrayal of life inside a women’s prison. Arriving at Carlingford prison on the same day, Orla, Abi, and Kelsey are pulled into each other’s orbit. Whilst single mother Orla fights to keep her children out of care and desperately tries to wrest her life back on track, young heroin addict Kelsey is presented with a life-defining decision. Meanwhile, tough lifer Abi is haunted by a sinister secret that attracts unwanted attention from fellow inmates, putting her safety at risk. Time series 2 is written by Jimmy McGovern and Helen Black, and stars Jodie Whittaker, Tamara Lawrance, and Bella Ramsey. It is produced by BBC Studios.
