Troop is an innovative reality show that has had enormous success. The series has had enormous positive response in media. It has raised awareness and questioned general education if there are certain teaching and learning methods used in the show that can gain Norwegian education. Many series in this genre are driven by conflicts and negative events, but this series focuses on teambuilding, inner strength, accomplishment, being able to deal with the pressure of expectation and teaching the recruits the proper tools they need to take control and manage their lives. The series also has a positive main goal – That each participant’s focus is to become the best version of themselves. The series also has humorous elements that soften the competition and allows one to discover new sides of the contestants.
