Bollywed is a passion project for Carolyn Meland and Gurjeet Mann that took 7 years to develop . It's the first South Asian series in Canada to follow an intergenerational Sikh family business. Bollywed was previously nominated for 2024 Canadian Screen Awards for Best Factual Series and Best Direction, 2024 Critics Choice Award and 2024 Astra Award.
