In 2024, The Traitors returned with 22 new strangers entering our Scottish castle to play the ultimate reality game of detection, backstabbing and trust. Series one was a word-of-mouth phenomenon that engrossed the nation, which only increased expectations for series two. It was daunting but as The Mirror commented, “every time it seems this show is as good as it can possibly be… somehow it gets even better.” Series two saw extraordinary growth, firmly embedding the show in popular culture. It became one of Britain's biggest TV hits of the year and was hailed as a celebration of event television in an age of streaming and catch-up. Viewers flocked to watch-parties hosted at pubs and cinemas and a +7 audience of 8 million tuned in to see the winner crowned. As The i stated, series 2 was “100% the best reality show on TV”. We’re thrilled to have produced a show that ignited WhatsApp groups, filled pubs, and entertained the nation once again.
