My Unseen Story showcases 10 incredible children with some kind of baggage, carrying a personal story that nobody sees. Their Unseen Story. The children allow us to get a front-row seat into their lives. Animation is used as a way to visualize parts of their story we cannot show through images; it makes it easier for the viewer to understand what happened, and the kind of animation that can soften what’s being told. The children always tell what happened in their own words. The power of their resilience and how they cope with life is not only breathtaking but also, for some kids, recognizable. For an adult viewer, this series gives you a unique and authentic inside look at the extraordinary life of kids. Every kid has their own story that needs to be told. This series was picked up by many other media outlets, and, due to the importance of seeing these stories and themes through the eyes of our children, VRT1, the main channel for ‘grown-ups,’ started airing My Unseen Story as well.
