Filmed with Nova Scotia's hurricane season looming, this epic series is a display of the expertise, dedication, and sheer will of third generation shipwreck salvager Captain Jeff MacKinnon and his crew of ex-FBI, military, and police divers. Following a 14-year moratorium placed on treasure recovery by the Canadian government, this epic journey follows the only licenced treasure hunters capable of recovering the history burried beneath the shipwreck sites in these trecherous waters. Braving 15-foot swells and the worst diving conditions in Canada, they delve the tumultuous waters off of The Death Coast - which has brought down over 5000 ships before them - to fulfil Captain Jeff’s family legacy of bringing life to the history of Nova Scotia and discovering the secrets of long forgotten shipwrecks.
