CANADA

- Short Form Non-Fiction Series

The November Project is an inspiring docuseries highlighting the fights worth fighting; the fight for human rights, the fight to get home, and the fight to keep families together based on over 300 love letters Horgie wrote to his Peach-Pie during WW2. Canadian Pte. Frank Horgan (Horgie) fought on the frontlines of war across Europe while writing home to his wife, Marthé Aliman (Peachie) in Canada. Horgie’s grandson reads a selection of love letters spanning the five-episode series. Each episode features a music guest performing original and traditional songs the echo the sentiments of the love letters drawing relevance and importance of the arts in reminding Canadians about the sacrifices and learnings of our ancestors, lest we forget. This broadcast is a national representation of Canadian values and is a call to our local and international neighbours to share their artistic expressions each and every November in their local community.
