At its core, The Assembly flips the traditional power dynamic of television interviews. Instead of the celebrity controlling the narrative, the floor belongs to a diverse group of autistic and neurodivergent adults who bring their own candour, humour, lived experiences and honesty to the table. In each of the 6 episodes that make season 1 so special, a featured well-known celebrity, (actors, comedians, entrepreneurs & beyond) — sits before “The Assembly” for an unscripted and moving conversation where no question is off the table. The neurodivergent interviewers lead the discussion, asking bold, surprising, and deeply honest questions. Many guests have said it was one of the best interviews they’ve ever had.
