The Outlaw Doctor follows Vietnamese doctor Wen-Ning Fan, alone in Taiwan, who risks everything to care for runaway migrant workers and pay for his mother’s medical bills. After intervening in a gas explosion, he is accused of murder and branded an illegal doctor, forcing him into the shadowy world of human smuggling. Caught between the law and the underworld, Wen-Ning must navigate impossible choices to survive and protect his family. This intense drama explores themes of morality, identity, and resilience, portraying the human struggle to do right in the face of injustice, and the extraordinary courage it takes to act under impossible circumstances.
