Sort Your Life Out sees Stacey Solomon and her gang, organizer Dilly, carpenter Rob and cleaner Iwan, challenge six families to sort their lives out in 7 days by letting go of half their possessions. The team beautifully reorganise each home with a budget friendly makeover and upcycling what they already have. At its heart, it's a series about the emotional significance we give to things and the freedom that can come from letting go of what you don’t need. It’s also a stunning visual portrait of an ultra-consumerist age where average families’ own enough stuff to fill a football pitch and a celebration of resourcefulness and creativity as we transform people’s homes without spending loads of money. None of this is said in the programme which presents itself as an inclusive, unpretentious makeover show but each hour is painstakingly crafted to have layers of emotion and meaning whilst presenting authentic stories of ordinary families where life has got out of control and help needed.
