From the start, Wild Hope was intended not just to be a digital series about conservation success stories, but a catalyst for impact. By profiling the trailblazing work of scientists and changemakers protecting biodiversity around the globe, its stories call attention to their cause, provide them with materials useful to their work, and even inspire others to pick up the mantle. To date, the series has reached over 22 million views through broadcast, streaming, and social media, fostered scores of public screenings and events (including workshops with the National Association of Biology Teachers and National Science Teacher Association). The initiative has partnered with leading conservation groups all over the planet (including the National Park Service, WWF, Smithsonian Zoo, and National Wildlife Federation), and sparked over 3 million views of educational materials, localized outreach with over 200 libraries, and over 1600 citizen science initiatives.
