The British Isles is globally important for wildlife…. and yet – despite its relatively small size and large population, wildlife here remains as surprising, astonishing and hard to find as anything we might see elsewhere. The series captures the variety and richness of British wildlife, some of which we hardly ever see and yet through Hamza’s natural curiosity and enthusiasm, coupled with cutting edge kit, we reveal amazing moments and quiet wonder everywhere. Viewers loved finding out more about the wildlife we have all around us, seeing it through Hamza’s eyes and down his lens. It was our intention to educate and entertain as inclusively as possible, assuming no knowledge without patronising the viewer, something that Hamza handles very well. The series showcased our native wildlife in a way that was both surprising, exciting, revealing and at times, emotional. His natural warmth and heartfelt love for the natural world shines through in every scene.
