Based in late 1800s London, Hetty Feather is the story of a feisty red-headed girl who starts life as in the Victorian Foundling Hospital after her mother leaves her there as a baby. Her story takes her through battles with the cruel Matron Bottomly, powerful friendship with her brother Gideon, and constant tussles with her arch enemy Sheila, as they all fight to survive and overcome their disadvantaged start with no parents: the Foundlings make their own family.
