"Other Parents" wonderfully captures the zeitgeist of modern, western parenthood by telling the story about "helicopter parents". Filmed as a mockumentary without a fixed script, the various characters were only sketched and the dialogues were improvised with the cast. During filming, none of the actors knew the exact course of the storyline and they were often confronted with surprises on camera. This unique and challenging way of filming and acting shows the creativity, talent and know-how of not just the actors, but the producers and director of this very modern, entertaining and hilarious comedy.
