The film was selected as part of the BIG IDEAS PROGRAMME at HOT DOCS 2019, making it one of the top 5 films selected for the festival. It has screened at THE RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL in London, UK where it received a phenomenal response, and was selected as the first ever feature documentary opening night film at THE MEET THE PRESS FILM FESTIVAL with the American Film Institute (AFI) in Washington, DC, hosted by NBC News Journalist Chuck Todd - a festival which screens short documentaries for lawmakers and politicians. Toxic Beauty has screened in over 150 cities across Canada and the U.S. Noteable cinema screenings include Tribeca Film Center in New York, NY, Ted Rogers Hot Docs Cinema in Toronto, ON, and Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP head office theatre in Santa Monica, CA.
