Spain-based producer Armando Guerra was in New York working on two pieces for CGTN's Americas Now. Suddenly, Guerra - who was born in Cuba - spotted a familiar face walking on the other side of the street. It was multi-award winner and renowned Cuban-American artist Edel Rodriguez. Guerra, approached Rodriguez, who agreed to be profiled and make himself available during the next two days. The piece is self-narrated by the artist and portrays most of his relevant work until late 2019. The artist talks about his motivation and techniques and is filmed working at his workshop. He's also shown engaging with random people on the streets who react to his work posted on walls around the city. Guerra post-produced the piece back in Spain, using animation techniques that highlighted Rodriguez’s artwork covers.
