The film was developed and produced by the world-renowned BBC Natural History Unit. It is a story of hope and of the power of human kindness and ingenuity to save our planet. The Unit wanted to use its skills in world-class cinematic wildlife filmmaking to highlight the plight of 7 key figures in conservation (as well as the Red List project they are all connected to) in a way viewers had not seen before. The film combines high end wildlife filming with more a fast paced and immersive observational documentary style. The stories are lead by the people at the frontline of conservation and this film gives viewers the chance to become immersed in that world. The goal of the film is to inspire people to become involved in or support conservation efforts all over the world
