Snapchat’s Reclaim(ed) is represented by Executive Producer, Co-Showrunner, and a writer and director on the series Dinae Robinson of Eagle Vision who is Anishinaabekwe from Treaty 1 Territory; this is Snapchat’s first Canadian original series, and it launched Snapchat’s newfronts in May of 2022, premiering in July of 2022 to great success on the platform; Eagle Vision embarked on this partnership with Snapchat in the vertical space guided by Indigenous elders who shared, in ceremony, that the project was important for the youth, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, in North America and around the world.
