The show follows Kiri, a feisty little dinosaur, and her best friend Lou, a gentle and thoughtful creature. They live happily in a prehistoric forest, exploring the world of feelings through laughter, song, play and friendship. Overarching themes include kindness, empathy and inclusiveness. Kiri and Lou is hand crafted from paper and clay by a small team in Christchurch, New Zealand. The show is praised by critics for depicting positive social-emotional messages, and helping parents to raise kind and emotionally literate children.
