300 Hoops is a documentary series that plunges us into the daily life of Dynasty, a basketball team made up of Quebec, French and African teenagers who live together in a church in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Over the course of their sports season, we discover the trajectory of these athletes who dream of reaching the major leagues, but also the challenges inherent to their uprooted families, upbringing, culture and faith. An incursion into a world apart, where the difficulties and splendors of youth are revealed. All against a backdrop of exciting competition. The series focuses on a full season of basketball. It begins when the young athletes are at training camp in late August, and runs through to the NPU pan-Canadian league championships in April. How high will the Dynasty team make it in the standings?
