Join us in discovering six Canadian places whose names are derived from one of the 200 Indigenous languages that have existed here. They are a testament to the fact that First Peoples have occupied this land since time immemorial. To help us better understand one another, we offer here a version of history, ancient or recent, that is not taught in schools. We also meet with people who know these places and the realities of those who live there.
