The prolific author and screenwriter Simon Boulerice felt that this story of a thirty-year-old man who considers himself incomplete and seeks his soul mate through dating apps would be a great fit for tackling strong themes like loneliness in the era of smart phones and dating apps. The series is protean, mixing dance, drawing and poetry, as well as humor and drama. It is as representative as possible of the queer community, diversified in all its forms. Recognizing yourself on TV is precious, says Simon. Just because a sexuality is disposable doesn’t mean it’s condemnable, as long as it’s practiced in a space of consent.
